The Bo' was fun and warm with everybody spread out from the Patch to the Channel. Not too many, & plenty of knee to chest high sets to go around, but such a beautiful day to be at the Beach. Lots of sunbathers getting their melanoma started.

Seems that Wednesday & Friday's are Ladies Day at the Bo' since most of the Patch crowd was Female, and some good longboards too. Just an observation.

Today was more blown out than yesterday, but there were many good waves to be had right in front of the boat ramp and near the channel. Perfect for long boarding, saw quite a few toes on the nose. Am now nursing 2-day surfing muscle aches :)

Things started off doubled-up, crumbly, and confused around 8:30, with a strong rising tide which made for a very trying slog from Wharf Rd. to the "Groin". Anyone trying to paddle out that side of the sign was rapidly dispatched to the channel. The "Patch" was working pretty well if you could get out. That dude with the hat was ripping it on his log. You guys know who I'm talking about. Caught a few fun and short rides commensurate with my mediocre surfing ability and cashed in my chips around quarter past 10. First pic is from before.

Softop City @ Bo. Played around in the "groin" and got sent into the channel; tried my hand at the "patch" and spent most of my time catching short rides on the inside before a lull finally came and I made it out. All that energy from this monster swell has been making it break everywhere at once, and fast. Not too big, though. Lotta first-timers, couples, and groms.

Can't complain :)

Fair conditions this morning. It was breaking from the groin to the patch in the shoulder to slightly overhead range. Rides weren't as long as on days when its a little smaller, but still decent shoulders.

Excellent come-back sesh @ MCBL. Been 2 weeks, was worried I'd've forgotten how to surf! Caught a few at the "Patch" as the sun went down :)

Surfed Bolinas today (12 - 2:30) for the first time just for <muffs>shits and giggles </muffs>. Tide was really high at the start..going far up the ramp. Ended up at the Patch on the advice of a nice regular (Jim) and it was a pretty fun day. We caught some waist high clean sets and even saw some sun. Jim said conditions were unlike most times he is out there with waves breaking left where he has never seen it break left, etc. Almost no crowd (4-5 folks) which in my mind made the fair conditions a good day.

MCBL : 7am : Poor surfing @ Bo. Swell looked more like wind than ground. 1 guy out bobbing up/down in choppy channel. Maybe WH > CH mush.

Teeny Mc Teenersons on tap with a packed crowd at the BoBo. If you had a log, you did alright, chasing the dwarf rhinos, while *BURNING* me on the shortboard with a smile. It's the Marin Way :). Frustrated at the sitch, @tcannon, his squeeze bonnie, and I decided to bust out the hand plane for a good time. Mark, see what you did? :) You're an inspiration....oh and back to snakes and burns....checked out a Marin Mysto when who do we see with FLAT TIRES??? @redtim. Poor guy :( He didn't even surf, just wanted to check it, and that's what Mr Nice guy gets huh? :( Karma will get u aholes.

MCBL : "Surfed" The Patch 9:30-11am. Lumpy / inconsistent. Size all over the place. May have been some HH+ waves. Its all a mushy blur.

MCBL unusually large + angry this AM. Bobbed around "The Groin" with all the flotsam and jetsam. Caught a few. Water tastes funny. Stoked!

MCBL perfect- stoked! Persistence pays: barely anything from 7:30-8:30, sun came out, sets came in, everyone had left! Had many to myself :)

DP @ Bo 7:30-8:30. Chest to HH+. HH+ mostly closed out. Big, lumpy and actually kind of mean for Bo. More people looking than surfing. MCBL
