Out from 2 - 5 fun waist to head high lefts into the groin pole and long rights deep into mailbo!! Stoked!!

I see this is the 3rd Bo' report, however, I arrived at noon and the tide was running up the ramp and slamming people against the walls. So Lady Bo' was have fun with her visitors. One guy even braved the shore break for some body pounding off the ramp. Lots of beach/sand erosion on this swell.

To the left was in the 2' to 4' range but inconsistent. To the right, consistent sets coming through in the 3' to 5' range, with a few SUP'ers and mostly longboards. The inside reform was fast, but you needed to kick out before getting pounded by the shore break.

Disappointing in Bolinas this morning. Small and jumbled. I caught a few sad ones and wandered in to work.

exactly like teahupoo, but smaller, colder, and also not barrelling at all - but pretty clean and decent for logging or learning - but not for mick fanning or towing-in or billabong.

And overheard from a SUP'er at the nice clean Seadrift right I'd been occupying solo for an hour...after he posted himself directly outside me with 2 other just arrived SUP'ers:

Total crap. Wind on the 1 foot chop. Don't bother.

Arrived at the Bo' from sunny conditions to a cool overcast day. Slight on shore, but the water was still glassy at noonish. Surf was in the knee to chest high size to the left, and ankle to knee slappers to the right. For about 90 minutes, the left, and lefts were consistent, but a snake pack was out on the shoulder dropping in.

One guy decided to bring a full on gun, don't ask, he wasn't able to catch much. By about 2, all became a great place to fish, or water ski. Sun did manage to peak through as I was leaving.

Plenty small and foggy this morning. Thigh high set waves that slowly got a little glassier and held up a little better. Certainly not epic, but all I was looking to do was help my little bro catch some waves so I was pretty happy. For a while the lineup consisted of G noseriding every little peeler that came along, my bro stoked as he caught some fun mellow waves, and me trying out a 7'0 stubby longboard I got last week. Not bad. Although I'm not sure I'd recommend the hike unless it was your birthday, you had at least a 10'0 board, or you wanted to be really late for work. :D (sorry G!)

got to bo at 12 ish and lucked out on a close parking spot. Suited up to disappointing 2 ft waves that had decent shape. crowded a little breezy but warm(er) water. after surf burrito from a street vendor in town added to the session.

Arrived approximately 11 am just as the fog was lifting. A surf school was in the water having lots of fun to the left, and to the right, long waits for waves in the ankle to knee high range. As I was leaving about 3 pm the tide was going out and some pulses of the south swell were starting to show some promises of more consistency and better size.

Got to Bo and from the parking lot you could already see sets stacking up. Suited up and took my 8'4 strive out to a certain rocky bottom location and was greeted with 3 to 4 foot waves rolling all the way through. Waves were clean long and fun. Stoked.
