Did an early afternoon session, 1 - 3 p.m.. Smallish wind swell about 2' to 3' with long intervals. Surfed the Patch on an incoming tide that was building. As I left, waves were becoming more consistent, and in the 2' to 4' range. No crowds, as Stinson opened today for other than just wading. Talked to a few locals, and they are 'mum' on the event Sunday. "I know nothing."
BTW greacen, you've got me hooked on the pastries now! Stopped by a local bakery in town and gathered up a few apple fritters, and my old standard, the maple bar. Washed them down with some cold mango juice. Not too bad. Thanks!
