Jumped in by the twin kook pipes this afternoon and boy did it feel good to get wet again. Some fun corners to be had in the right spot at the right time. The last round of storms seem to have dredged the hell out of the beach. There were a lot more rocks and there was a huge exposed pipe on the Mexico end that I've never seen before - surrounded by mud slicks where there used to be a lot of sand.

Checked a bunch of spots from Pacifica down through HMB. Not a whole lot happening, unless you like wild whitewater and dumping close-outs. Settled on something small and somewhat glassy and found a few moments of fun.

Sunny, offshore breeze, not-too-chilly!

secret spot with no parking. lots of boats in the water and cameras on the bluff. biggish (15 - 18 maybe) but very inconsistent. only saw three rides while i was there. then the marine layer came down and the show was over. fun to watch for a few.

Picked off some okay KH-WH stuff. Not a whole lot of consistency. Low expectations helped me out quite a bit and the sunshine helped, too. Some dipshit tied their dog to a rock or a log on shore and the poor confused pup got loose and was running all over the highway. Cars stopping with me trying to grab it. A guy helped catch the dog and someone alerted the dude in the water. He paddled in to get the poor thing. Kook move, dude. Not cool. Other than that, I had a Fair minus time in Poor plus conditions.

A bit sloppy but some fun rights if your in the right spot. I got 5 nice ones and then went and took a few pictures to share.

Lots of bump but a few fun ones if you could get in the right spot.

Slabby closeouts bout CH-SH. Got an occasional face or fun drop.

It was sunny and not windy at least.

Overheard upon getting to the lineup: "I told them you'd be out here. But, I told them you'd be on your surfboard. Not that." The sponging teenager replied, "But Mah-awwm, it was barreling. I'd rather get shacked than do a few snaps." Disappointed mom paddled away leaving son to ponder his choices. He seemed content. WH to CH fun waves that gave a little bit of a walled face to zip across and then out before the wash. Lots of kelp to pull off the leash if you went too far. The tide was "Oh yeah, I forgot about those r0cks" low. Fairly glassy surface and the big glowing thing in the sky even poked through.

Firing today at my fav spot. overhead, offshores, hollow barrels, and a friend to share it with. stoked.

Biggest south I've ever seen at this particular spot. Solid overhead plus. Too bad it's washing out and super bumpy. If you aren't working I'd suggest heading further down the 1. I'd suspect some spots are absolutely going off.

Everything looking small, soft, and a little blown out. Sunny though.

Getting in anyway

Overcast and breezy. Every once and a while, something would punch through and deliver a drop and quick ride. Not a whole lot happening, but for me, worth the get-wet after a few days out of the water. Could get a little better as the tide comes up a little bit.
