Ended up heading south and hitting the jetty. Much less wind. Got a few fun rides at the ###### of the beach. Seemed to work well with the low tide, not sure how that will hold up as it rises.
Swung by Francis Beach in HMB on my way to the kook waves. It was close to 2x overhead and barreling, and I saw a couple guys get 5-second-plus tube rides. One guy got really deep, then the wave started to crumble, and a couple seconds later he zipped out of the end. Of course I didn't think to take a couple pics...
Princeton jetty, the spot of Kings: Mid-day high tide, knee to chest high, sunny, cold, almost non-existent wind, clean. Typical beginner-friendly close-outs on the south side and decent-looking shape next to the jetty, peeling but not quite barreling. Heard it was crowded at LM so I came here and had some fun. Saw a guy pig-dog a 3-foot-high barrel.
