sunny and offshore early on the morning with a bulding tide and good size S swell.
got there around 7 and somewhere else location was packed, moved to the next sandbar and was empty and lined up.

Hit the road by a few after 5 and made it down in record time. The tide was still pretty dang low, but we decided to head toward the 41st St. parkinglot and see how things looked. They looked fine. They looked nice. They even looked kinda whomping at moments. We suited up and went for it. Lineup was kinda crowded, kelp was thickest in all the wrong places... but those waves were super-fun. T was all over it. N took her time getting used to her brand new board. B carved his initials all over those things. I caught one of those top-10-gonna-remember-this-wave-for-the-rest-of-my-life waves. #stoke++

WH-CH+, glassy, almost no wind (offshore puffs), sunny. Everyone is smiling.

Wowzers. Fun fun times were had. Got here super early and for all intents and porpoises, I'm pretty sure we're surfed out. Shoulder to head almondy niceness was on tap with not too many peeps in the fray. Can't say I'd take a day off any differently. Mr Sticker made some nice drops with reckless abandon and rewards were aplenty. Thanks location turtle :D Good minus since it wasn't cranking just a wee bit more.

Surfed a spot south of the #### Saturday morning with waves coming in about waist high. Very fun rights. Then we went to the h00k Sunday morning with pretty consistent head high waves to slightly overhead on the sets. Went back to that spot this morning and surfed it for about 2 hrs with ok waves. Stoked to get alot of waves on this long weekend!

sunny morning at SC with light offshore winds building tide and blue skies. looks like everybody tried to avoid high tide, main peak was crowded at 7. lefts are not my thing, grew up surfing lots of rights in Peru, and rights are always my first choice, but everytime the conditions are like today(nice and EMPTY lefts with crowded rights)i give it a try.even knowing ill eat some of those tubes. glad to make that decision, mother ocean delivered. ate some of them of course and found the hollow exit in others as well, very very fun on that empty peak. 3-4 ft , maybe 5 on the better sets. no @ lkilpatrick scale here
i'll say good - because it could have used a little more size. but i'll let you be the judge, took 3 pics of the same wave before sesh.

Continuing our Thursday AM Santa Cruz pattern: sampled a few spots this morning. Stole a few looooong peely rights. Maybe it was actually good. Yes, I could be persuaded. Yes, we saw the whale.

Sunny, no wind. WH-CH peelers. Fun!

great morning in SC, diferent than yesterday, today the top spots were inconsistent and beachbreaks were solid.hit a spot early before low tide, and had a blast.
5 ft maybe 6 , very glassy surface thanks to the northerly winds, very long shoulders and hollow spiting barrels, all that under mostly sunny skies and warm temperatures, surfed it until i couldnt feel my arms, three hours there and was getting better as i was leaving with the tide push, but some texture with the winds shifting more from the the W.

I though would be epic, but I think it was too much swell for this beachbreak this morning.7 ft glassy and hollow, only some of them delivered long and open shoulders, a lot of them were closing out fast making things not too good with an intense paddling.was there for an hour an only took 7-8 waves, fortunately on the right time/right place to score a couple of big spitting shacks, that totally made my day, last wave was sick but couldn't make out of the barrel and ended up over the rocas, luckily nothing bad happened but was enough to send me home. Stoked!
Top spots are going off if you don't care to share it with hundreds of angry folks.

as large as i've seen at this spot. better-than-me's were ripping it up at the main peak. Redeemed (http://stokereport.com/rant/michel-junod) by re-meeting Spicoli's shaper, Michel Junod. Got to ask him if he remembers it's sweet checkerboard pattern. (nope.) took my requisite mushy long ride around the corner and got stuck behind sets paddling back for about 30. left immediately. Bear Claw.

After months of OB, SC was "great" in my book. It was a "pleasure" to surf there. I am "hook"ed on the quality and size it delivered. However, I was not all alone like I am too often at OB. It can be fun sharing the waves.

Some fun stuff this morning. Long lulls, but kh-ch waves eventually rolled through. @tracey and @nicoleslaw caught them all. Everyone got the memo about the swell tho, plenty of people in the water. Yes, we saw the whale. Yes, we communed with otters. Post-surf pastries complete the stoke-fecta!
