Surf Reports for Other (SCOT)

I surfed just north of One Eyed Jack's house again today. Surf was in the 1-2' range with an occasional 3' that rolled through. No SUPs, no alaias, no foamies. Wind picked up and was strong enough to blow the Cornelia Marie from Alaska to Santa Barbara. Still left with a grin on my face :P

Surfed Eastside just north of O'Neill's house. Sunny, glassy, outgoing tide, 5 longboards, 1 fish, 2 alaias, and numerous shortboards. Schaler nailed the size but not the overall conditions: 2-3' semi-consistent and super fun. Still some SW sets rolling through and NW wind swell filling in. Hit it on your lunch hour cause tide is perfect, grommets in school, and old folks already tuckered out.

Dawn patrol to SC and found myself alone with Rampy the friendly wave for the first hour, nice glassy peelers, stayed out until my paddlers were out of paddle....great start to the weekend.

Fun out there mid morning. Predictably nice stuff to work with. Got a few fun drops a little too deep to make the shoulders, but also lined up section after section for a marathon, victory wave around the bend.

Toes froze, so I'm warming up before taking out my other board that hasn't seen daylight since June.

very nice conditions early this morning, sunny skies with offshore winds and a building tide.
went earlier as posible to don't deal with the high tide and the crowds. definately was the right call, lined up surf, glassy surface and plenty of barrels breaking over pure sand, another great sunday, stoked!

definately SC does not miss winter.
offshore conditions thanks to the N winds, solid groundwell and a dropping tide all working together made a great morning.

Fun session with a few waves, low crowd and the sun came out, it was worth the drive.

Beautiful sunny morning in SC. Surfed a spot south of town with 3 other folks, from 7 to 9.
Solid lines delivered open shoulders and nice wedges at the end with 6- 7 ft waves, northerly winds helped a lot to make things hollow and with lots of spray, droping tide helped a lot also.

More of the same we've been seen lately. Glassy and fast with the dropping tide, 5-6 ft, surfed from 10-12 solo session, now are like 15 guys on it but the wind is making some damage, still hollow ones working through. Stoked!

After two weeks out of the water for this work trip, I found myself with a nice day off and a need for some super mellow sunshine waves. Yeah, it was small (around knee high with some waisties rolling through) and yeah it was slow (naptime on the longboard) and yeah at one point I was on the inside staring at a firing squad of softops ready to run me down...but it was still pretty dang fun.
