SquAw choke.... Breath deep choke wait in lift lines steep choke breath... Smile

Expected so little but got so much. Great riding on the steep windblown stuff. Great riding in the corn down low. The funnel, Tower 16 and Headwall face made me feel like I was in the movies. Giving it a good because the you had to find the right spot.

hit KT right as lifts opened and got a couple good runs. snowed maybe another 6" on monday night so there was some soft stuff on top of the half tracked out 3' of still fairly light snow. heard they were opening up Granite Chief and headed straight there. got there to a long lift line, but stayed there the rest of the day and again got some great turns in. had the chance to hike granite chief peak this afternoon but opted out based on soar quads from 2 days of knee deep sierra turns. next time...

overall, great conditions in the mountains right now, especially for this early in the season. they have a fantastic base by now, and barring any heavy rains or avy danger, I predict all mountains will be 100% open by new years.
