Caught 180° South at the Victoria tonight. Sure, it's adventure porn and not surf porn but it was an all around good time. Funny, beautifully shot, nice storytelling, and lots of breathtaking places along the pacific coast.
While surfing is certainly strongly connected to the film, the core is the wandering spirit in the wild world. There's rock climbing, mountaineering, fishing, sailing, music, and an eco-social responsibility message.
Definitely worth a watch. I'm excited to hit the surf tomorrow and maybe hike somewhere the next day. <3 you great outdoors.
