That is our stretch of the lake too. My folks are just over a mile south of Burns Harbor.

I would be up on the dunes with hot chocolate and a camera. That's the closest I'm getting to that mean ole lake when she's big. Scared+++

Big waves in fresh water.. I suppose one doesn't float back to the surface quite as easily there as in salt water. Pretty crazy to think there can be such a large swell on an inland sea like that. I'd love to see some video.
