The Alaia board is a thin, fast, finless, wooden surfboard with no rocker, arguably hard to handle. La La is the ancient Hawaiian word for alaia surfing. No way you could call this a fad. This is as cool as you can get. Takes a good rider to do something like this. No fin, no rocker, it's as minimalist as you can get. Much respect. I almost like this as much as the peanut I've seen before :)
