A few weeks ago I stopped being able to see the surfpulse OB cam display (I just see a black square), and figured it was temporarily out. But as time has gone on, it's starting to feel like I've got some problem on my end, though I can't imagine what. I can still see the Surfline cam feed just fine. Anybody else having trouble seeing the surfpulse cam display?
firefox 3.6. However I just realized that with IE 7 I can see it okay. So I guess it's something to do with the browser or my browser extensions.
Yup, I noticed this. I thought it was isolated to FF 3.6 on PC's though, thought Safari was OK. We're looking into it. Anyone out there a stream whiz? That kinda came out wrong.
yep, same. works on osx on safari 4.0.5, firefox 3.6 but not chrome 5.0.307.11
I googled around and saw some other threads about problems with java and firefox 3.6. (e.g. http://support.mozilla.com/no/forum/1/610463 ). I guess I could revert to an earlier version of firefox, or I could just use IE. Whatever, it's not really that big of a deal.
Just to close the loop on this, here's the fix: http://twitter.com/surfpulse/status/11041821368. That fixed the issue for me when using FF 3.6 on a PC.
