If you were too busy to catch it live, go check the replays on the contest website. Four amazing heats in a row with John John, Dane R., Parko, and Kelly advancing to the semis. La Gravière turned on at the end of the day with light offshore, 6-8 foot high tide heavenly pits. The swell is supposed to drop overnight but it's probably worth it to stay up late tonight and catch the end of the contest. The call is at 10:45 pm, SF time.

Parko versus Kelly will be a great match-up and with Fanning out pretty early could have big impact on Ke12y possibilities...

Check out Slater's 8.50. He pulls the same thing he did at the SF Search contest where he gets so deep that most people, cameraman included, write him off, only to see him reappear 30 yards down the line... He went on to post a 9.93, a 10 (a silly no-grab backside barrel), and a 9.2.
