What I want to know is, who's the guy on the longboard!?! He's kinda shoulder-hopping, but he's also scoring.

Yup, that's Angry Guy. He had the drop-in favor returned on other waves in the pics I've seen. And yes, he slays on a log, regardless of size or conditions.

That is inspiring seeing a longboarder at Mavericks! I'm heading over right now! Hang ten!

Awesome shot Frank. I like that all you can see of the other guy is his arm. :)

Hey @Angry Guy, since you obviously surf monster waves that I don't, I have a question for you about etiquette: Does dropping in or having several guys charge a 20 footer have the same negative stigma associated with it as similar situations on a 4 foot day? Or does everyone just paddle back out acknowledging their collective badassery and get over it?
I've always wondered about this, because you often see pics of multiple guys on the same wave at Mavericks or Waimea but I've never heard of fights breaking out or anything like that. And yeah, sick shot.

Yeah I've wondered the same party wave question myself. It's not quite Cowells, but the stakes are much higher. I guess it's probably pretty hard to pull back once you've committed. Nice wave AG.

To answer the questions on Mavericks etiquette. Give me a minute, I'm having side pains from laughing so hard because you guys are asking me, of all people. First off, everyone there is like family, a lot of guys travel around the world to surf there. In the water, when it's really big, I get tunnel vision and am so committed to catch the wave that a lot of times once we are in the waves, I usually look back to see who's deeper and I usually get off the wave. Also, these waves are big and most times there is room for everyone. But, when you turn around and there is a guy just a little bit deeper than you, it does get frustrating.
