SANTA CRUZ -- From the man who brought Surf City the world-record gathering of afro wigs comes another one for the record books: the world's largest gatherings of bikini-clad women and Speedo-clad men, among other water-ready humans, to take place later this month at Cowell Beach.
"I think this event will be a little more fun than the afro event," said founder Virgil Robinson. "Afros are cool but Speedos and bikinis are funnier."
