this attack sounds different from most in that the great white actually was interested in consuming the surfer (as opposed to test-biting, finding the surfer/surfboard unpalatable, then leaving)
These kinds of scenarios make me wish I wore some sort of biodegradable/digestible wetsuit, so at least Sharky doesn't get sick after finishing me off.
