OB is in Marin County! That's about the only thing that had me smiling about this site.

Have any of you bothered to see where this site 'supposedly, allegedly, or in actuality' operates out of? The British Virgin Islands! Too bad they don't have a forum to criticize all the secret sacrosanct spots they mention.
Location Turtle would have a field day on this site. And as @ offshores says, "OB is in Marin County!"

So in order to fight the exposure of these secret spots you post it on another widely viewed surf forum?

off constantly, off again....the notion that there are "secret" spots or "sensitive" spots in this info-tech 21st century is a worn out joke. Obviously the rant poster isn't trying to "fight" anything.

Still though, it's going to make some people so mad they'll be seeing spots looking at that page. :D

I just think that some of those spots are ones you should learn about once you earn it and make friends with surfers who know about them. If you pull up to Drakes and walk down to the Estero with your funboard that you can't surf because you read about it online that is not a good use of technology. I'm happy that there are still some that evaded the list.

"...Ideal swell direction is from the west." Yes, those easterly swells are a real pain when they roll through this Marin break!

@Off Constantly:
Its amazing that anyone could possibly argue with what you said. That site is so thoroughly wrong that its almost funny, and I don't think it damages the stoke around here to point that out.
