wow. the footage IS BANANAS. one more reason to look forward to fall. sum bitches shoulda released it in the summer! also looking forward to how "the public" will respond to the inevitable hooting/ hollering that will happen in the theater.

How many idiots will try to paddle out after watching this. The acting looks to be pretty horrible too. So far I am giving it two STOKES down. I will absolutely watch it though and they will get my money so who is the idiot?? haha!

When I heard Gerard Butler was in the movie, I didn't expect he would be playing Chandler from North Shore.

Hope the movie honors Jay's legacy better than that preview makes it seem. Looks like typical Hollywood bullshit.

Big screen surf movies bother me.But, that wave and those cameras...they will get my money.I want to see it on the biggest/loudest screen possible.

Can't wait to see if I'm in it! I was an extra in the paddle out scene and wormed my way to the front where I took this pic.

I will be viewing this movie on the big screen with my girlfriend, she can wake me up for the surfing scenes which will be well shot. I think the story the movie tells has a good premise but I'm the guy that hates most movies, you name it probably don't like it.

Fun fact about Gerry Butler: When I paddled over to introduce myself to Holly Beck (who doubled for Jay's GF in the surfing scenes), she told me Gerry refused to put on a wet wetsuit, insisting on a dry one every time. #primadonna

I'm not even sure it will warrant cutting eye-holes in my paper bag. But then I wouldn't be able to see the surf scenes. Perhaps a pair of Hear O's is in order. They protect my ears from the cold water, maybe they can do the same from bad dialogue.
