As some of you may know I picked up a GoofBoard last week and have really enjoyed it.

What the heck is a GoofBoard you may ask?

Well its a balance board similar in idea to an indo board but instead of you rocking back and forth on the board you move side to side (or Rail to Rail). It feels much more like surfing and even in the short time I have had mine it has helped me with my foot positioning and balance.

Or you can snowboard in powder.. Probably a way better cross training tool.. :)

I bet it's hard to cross step with snowboard boots on. :)
I have a skateboard for cross training. It's prepping me for the high speed gravel abrasions of bodysurfing nicely too.

If you have a junk board, take the fins off, put it on top of an exercise ball, then stand on top of it. Its surprisingly easy, compared to actual surfing.

@gamed: interesting, I might have to try that. The guy in the video is a dumbass though. @1:44 he says, "water is mostly air"

there were some guys who were riding my street on on a carveboard for a while... I have to say having them get air off my neighbors driveway into mine was a bit annoying after a while... But it looked like fun everywhere but the blind intersections in my neighborhood..
