Super fun today from 3-4; then ok from 4-5:15. Lots of pitchy barrels at the ###### of OB. Saw several shacks. Had a blast. Got funky from 4-5:15...but an awesome day to be out.

dingo, I see what you did there ;) unfortunately for me, all I see in those pics are the 50+ duck dives I'm going to have to endure just to even maybe kinda-sorta have a chance to get outside!

The paddle wasn't that bad actually surprisingly for a low tide....Was okay in the middle from 6-7p. Surfed the inside for a while and got a couple fun lefts but it started getting inconsistent... so I paddled way waaay out to a pack with some sizable waves. there was this giant area where the inside waves wouldn't break and the outside would peter out.
Peter out is a weird expression...

I'm not sure I still remember how to surf.

Super shots John! Saw some stupid long rides today.

Hey, that's me in the the first and last pics, 2 shots of the same wave. The bars aren't set up yet but it sure was fun to get a little power out there. I was surfing the outside bar and caught about a dozen waves. 4 or 5 were pretty nice ones that connected all the way to the inside. OB has woken from it's slumber. There's more on the way!

Excellent pictures, looks like it is going to be a good weekend and the coming week looks good too.

I don't surf OB much, as I don't need to, plenty of waves down here in Half Moon Bay and further south.

I recall seeing that shipping barge go by; must have been out around the same time, and it was some work getting out. It had been a while since I'd attempted OB, and it certainly decided to put me back in my place. Seeking redemption surf ASAP.
