Finally owning up to a huge mistake? Or is money making up for all the damage done?

My first post, I won’t be posting on conditions, but I do like to share articles that I find:
By pushing pieces of paper at the problem is BP only making more excuses for the terrible harm that they are creating for the ocean's we all love, or are they actually putting an effort to help fix the problem?
