GGNRA SUV use of beach as highway

Rant - GGNRA SUV use of beach as highway

Does anyone know why the SUV is often driving at high speeds on the beach? Not the lifeguard truck that could possibly be saving someone. This is the SUV that tickets people for off leash dogs and shovels campfires out. It seems really dangerous to people and marine creatures.

Remember when you used to be able to have a small bonfire and split a bottle of wine with your significant other at OB? Things were much better before these Gestapo took over. Now your only option is to hang with the riff-raff at one of the huge designated fire rings parallel to the park, or else they will gladly cite you with some ridiculous fine. I guess they have to justify their paychecks somehow.

Too many dang people here now too. Remember when the Mermen played live on the beach at Chrissy Field next to a huge fire pit of 50 burning pallets? You could never pull that off now, some geeks would tweet about it and there would be 10,000 people there, 15 of them would be thugs starting fights, and at least 2 drunk idiots would fall in the fire and die...

I remember when people used to burn pallets on the beach and one time my dog stepped on one of the many nails from the burnt pallets.
But yeah, those Rangers can be dicks too-
one time a foot ranger chased me and my dog across The Great Highway all the way up to about 43rd ave, at which point I hung a right on his ass and jumped on the Muni without muzzling my dog and was promptly kicked off. Didn't get caught, and all i remember was watching him hang on to his hat as he chased us down. I kind of felt sorry for him, because if i was chasing a warranted man...i'd ditch all that shit that was weighing me down, and just start shootin'.

Tom i agree. Some creepy ass dudes be hanging out ready to rape you with their minds in the park. I avoid the park at all costs between 43rd and the beach. They have always been there. Seems like they work together, spotting people on the trails walking or riding bikes, trying to block them from passing through. CREEPS!

Watch out with the che-cheeba on that stretch of beach too.
All GGNP areas do not honor your state issued 'license to blaze'.
I learned that lesson the hard way about 6 years ago.

@surfermax - Mind rape? Is that like mind surfing, but with rufees and genitals?

Luckily I did not need a lawyer (that time). When I did need one. NORML pointed me at Terrance Halinan.
Dropping his name in court lit up the judges eyes, and then she sent me home happy.
