Took the gopro out for a few waves the other day.
Couldn't upload the original ones so i'm sharing the instagram versions

@Eduardo420, Nice. I have issues with uploading most of my GoPro pics here too. Can't seem to figure why.

Were you swimming or on a boogie board?

Did you use the GoPro wrist mount? I'm thinking about getting that. If you have it, i'd like to get your thoughts on it. (Spending $40 for a wrist mount seems kind of whack.)

the gopro wrist mount blows. I think one of those "stick mounts" would be better.

@waveglider, i took the pics doing both, swmming with wrist mount and with camera on board too.
Purp n kook, i used the wrist mount and works ok, its good for paddling, makes it super easy and I can stay hours on the surf with it with no hassle, bummer is you can only shoot left or right so its no very comfortable abd you gotta use both hands to shoot, depends what you want to do with it.
If you're planning to swim and take pics, I'd recommend other mount like the pole. If you want to surf , paddle,and take pics between rides, wrist mount might work.
I have the stick mount on my boogieboard, drilled and used 2 board plugs for safety, works great
