After hunting through youtube for a minute, I found this video of surfing this weekend in NY powered by Hurricane Bill. Pretty sizable...and that's a lot of white water.

Yea, it does look like OB. Only difference is that we can't wear board shorts and a rash guard unless you're CRAZY! :D

I surfed Long Beach at the end of July and it was great, 4 footers, 85 degrees, and sunny. The thing that is hard about surfing hurricane swell and surfing on the East Coast in general is the swell periods are shorter so you know the paddle out will be a pain.
