OAKLAND, Calif. (KCBS) -- A sea lion found near the Nimitiz Freeway this morning has been euthanized after its wounds were found to be too serious. Animal experts say it appears the male sea lion had been bitten by a shark and had suffered a severed spinal cord.
A second sea lion found at San Francisco's Ocean Beach today, also suffering from shark bites.
time to go wetsuitless for a while. no need to be out there looking like a seal with a tasty spinal cord.
hopefully shivering will make you look too scrawny to eat instead of making you look wounded and tasty.
