Yeah, this spot has a few crews of step-off-ers that hang out for the summer. And of course, a number of guys that paddle it (mostly leashless, like Zicatela). That's not to say it's crowded though, at least when I stopped by. There were a few local groms paddling out there on a sizable day, which blew my mind. And yes, I wussed out on the main beach break.
