Rant - It's Wednesday surf peeps.

I'm going to buy a raffle ticket for every Stoke Reporter that comes out tonight (along with one that can't make it).

So far I'm about $50 in the hole.

Let's make it $100.

Yep. Mike won a new custom shaped board! He also won first row seats to Giants vs. Mariners this Sunday, along with a t-shirt. He is the man to beat! Luke won some stuff too. He doesn't know yet. He'll get a call in the morning.

I spent $80 on raffle tickets that I gave away to Stoke Reporters. $80 to a good cause. Yeah, that's over a dozen folks. I can't even list off all the great folks I saw, starting from Aleks from AQUA to surfpulse to st1ck3r to frankiekim to Eduardo to Kirk to David to ... it's a long list. Ryan, Luke, it's a laundry list of great people that turned out... Nicky, Tracey.... it goes on and on. Ryan.... did I say Ryan already? Either way he's rad (let's climb).

Oh, and let's not forget marklukach.

I'll be doubling it next month. TWO tickets to any Stoke Reporter who shows.

TWO.

I don't know the number but a buttload of cash was raised to help needy kids tonight.

Actually, I broke the news to Luke on Twitter. I am sure he will be stoked about his winnings :)

And yeah, phenomenal crowd. DJ was rinsin' it, too.

I don't typically like gushing over people on the internet, but TC is a good man. In a site that has generated some fairly heated discourse, Tom is a goodwill ambassador for enjoying waves and friendships, and I dig it. There's a party bus rolling through this website, and Tom is driving it. Thanks for rallying some people last night, congrats to everyone who won (especially Mike scoring a new board). Good times.

Thank you Tom, it was a great night. Bummed I missed out on what I won. What do I need to do to collect? Congrats to Mike, great time was had by all. Stoked I finally won something!
Now to just find out what it is :)
