When I lived in Encinitas, I saw guys paddling out to fish off their longboards. Several of them had glassed places to rest their rod.

I think greg and I will go to scabies pt again with gear and crab from the waters :D
PS: if you're industrious enough we saw a free crab trap hanging off one of the edges just above the water, because someone got their line stuck there! It's yours for the taking!
Also, it's important to note that this shark:

Can be attached and be employed as a power OAR.
Or is he playing the 'Air Shark' in G?
THE *OARSMAN* is the SHARK WHISPERER!!

I just read a thread about this on the Surfer mag forum (a forum I don't particularly like). And as you might imagine, there are people out there that have this down to a science. The consensus was that if you're not bungeeing a milk crate to the front of you're board to hold fish and supplies, you're doing it wrong, and you will get eaten by sharks that live for the smell of fish blood.

if you're not going to eat them just leave them alone.
