Kiwi Surf Looks Like Mundaka

Great wave, thanks for posting, and the Mundaka comparison is spot on. What's the deal with the last picture? Is he about to get worked or did he set that maneuver just as he got spat out? If it's the latter it's pretty rad. I guess we won't know...

Looks like he bit it. Those were deeeeeeep.

Question, why are the all pulling out of the wave after the barrel in the earlier rides? Is it A) because the are glorified barrel chasers or B) does the next section run into something like a reef or a jellyfish rave?

Looong lefts that eventually close out, and or the paddle back out is loooong too.
