THAT'S COOL! Obviously, not a Saturday morning at SMLM. Any idea of when this photo was taken?

i never knew about that little private beach just south of pacifica. pretty awesome. anyone ever surfed there?

i stumbed upon some more recent photos of pacifica, some cool ones of low / high tides. it reminded me to check out of men and mavericks when it is released in october.

great shots from both of those links....thanks, guys. For a bit of trivia check out a 1989 movie called 'Shuttlecock' starring local Paca resident and comedian Will Durst. The movie was shot entirely at boat docks and succeeded as a "stand-in" for a quaint New England cosatal village....and a fairly decent movie as well.

Cool photo @TT - When I was teabaggin' @LM in the late eighties, the parking lot stopped further north of where it does now; there was a 2-story, ramshackle surf shack between the dunes and the sand, between where the lot ended and hell$ bell$...dunno if people actually lived there; in the early AM the doors were always wide open, and I got the impression that the lifeless forms inside were still sleeping off the prior nights indulgences. The house disappeared with the big pumph0use upgrade/parking lot expansion (~'95??). That's be a cool photo....
