just normal day in Pacifica...

I've been hoping for a repeat...but no lifeguards hassling 'em this year?

This happened in Santa Cruz back in February. Both funny and frustrating. Funny if you're a pirate, frustrating if not. Best thing was the half hour before the pirate raid, the line-up was empty of all the regular dickheads. I still vividly remember a few of those waves....

Okay....i had no idea that this sort of ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WONDERFUL SPECTACLE actually takes place. Breathtaking. heart stopping. A thing of beauty. Thank you for the share. This is the kind of thing i want to be a part of one day.
For those who take surfing so seriously, that this would ruin your day, well, i hope these guys come and crash your party one day.

I still think a place under a big bridge nearby needs the treatment... It's go the perfect vibe for a day of fun with foam boards from costco while wearing pirate costumes...

Wave glider- you can for sure pick up Wave Storm's at Costco in Santa cruz. They will be stocked with 8'0's, and 6'0's. Not sure if SF's Costco has em. I've heard sometimes they do.

You don't understand.The Lowers raid was by LOCAL kids and friends having fun....not transplants looking for trouble.

Tom- i personally have never owned one, but have actually pointed a few "newbs" in the direction of said Wave Storm surfing product. My friend's sister bought 3 of them for my buddy and his girlfriend. I believe they even make a 10'0 SUP. Great stuff.
I am quite intrigued to try the 6'0. Much harder to find, i understand

I could see Dora in prime form out there, @s-lips...pushing and shoving people from their boards, calling kook on everyone. But, alas, I think that crowd would be too much even for him. He'd probably have a melt down and eventually sit there stewing in his own grandiosity. Funny to imagine that scenario, eh?

I actually did see a few 8'0" Wave Storms at the Colma/SSF Costco a few weeks ago... I think they were around $100 a piece. Surprised I haven't seen more of 'em at the Mar.

As of yesterday, 7/17/2012, Costco in Novato has five, 5, Wave Storm 8' surfboards for $99.
