Ocean Beach in 5 more years?

I spent a few summers in LA during the mid-90s, and I surfed Malibu almost every day. Yes it got crowded, and longboarders would ride five on a wave, but if a shortboarder burned another shortboarder, there would usually be words. Not like this total mayhem. These are not kooks either, they are good enough to know better, but they drop in anyways. I'm starting to see this idiotic behavior at OB. No bueno.

the infinite, kaleidoscopic beauty of the cosmic dance... from krsna's perspective, all of these surfers have dropped in & been dropped in on since the origin of time.

Please remember that cosmic dance when I cut the front of the line at the coffee shop, steal your bike out of your garage, or pull into that parking spot you've been waiting for. Almost every religious tradition and society in the world sez: don't take from another, what does not belong to you. Beautiful in its simplicity, no?

Even the cripple at 4:15 gets in on the action. why even bother paddling out. when its like that, i dont think people even look back, they just go if there isnt somebody 12" from their head.
