What's that freighter doing in Bolinas?

Does that container ship throw off any sizable wake to surf on after it passes?

I actually heard the other day that Bolinas is hurting so bad for cash do to a legal battle over a desalination plant that they've decided to open the lagoon docs to freighters. I saw a similar ship just off of Seadrift about a week ago.

BTW, they're also selling a water meter for like 300K. :D

Bolinas is fine just the way it is. With the exception that the cliff over looking the Patch is crumbling away. Won't be long before that road will be completely inaccessible. In the old days, you could park above the Patch and take a trail down the cliff to the surf.

Yea the inbound freighters sometimes throw off a decent wake but are really only accessible via kite or windsurf.
