Tail winds, no traffic, 10,000 foot peaks, 4,000 foot faces. I guess the period is somewhere in the millions of years.

For a minute I assumed that was a helmet cam and couldn't figure out how you could swivel your neck 180 degrees - some sort of man-owl.

Safe travels and avoid Arizona if you can. I hear they don't take kindly to folks with accents...

Haha, nah not averaging 18, that was with a strong tail wind... the uphills are a lot slower. I think that day I averaged around 11mph for the whole day. I've been doing about 60 miles/day, which is not going to get me to the east coast in my time limit, but it should get me to Denver and there should be plenty of good cycling in that time.

Haven't seen another touring cyclist since Sacramento, although word is there is a group about a day ahead of me :)
