Surfing on a wave created by a powerboat, Panamanian surfer Gary Saavedra broke two world records on Saturday March 19 behind a boat on Lake GatĂșn.
Saavedra, holder of 13 Panama surfing titles surfed for three hours 55 minutes over a distance of 41.3 miles on waves created by a power boar. Both achievements qualify asworld records for surfing behind a static wave and were witnessed by representatives of The Guinness Book of World Records.
