I am at work, investigating my new beard, playing with the new HTML5 feature on YouTube, and upgrading Force10 switch firmware. *yawn*
I'm sure your day is similarly exciting. Please share about it!
I am playing at being at work, investigating my new Force10 beard, upgrading crypto's stomach flagellodoodoococcus on YouTube, and ... yawp!
i'm with you. i'm on day 4. f-bombs are flying here at work. i'm surfing tomorrow morning, i don't know where and i don't know how and i might get hep-c but whatever, i'm okay with that.
working, slacking off, working, making tea, working, watching "alley surfing" video, working...
Today there was a big medical marijuana case published by the California Supreme Court (see http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/opinions/documents/S164830.PDF ), and everybody I work with has been all excited about it.
Like @madpie but with more working, less slacking off (except for now), and more tea drinking than tea making. Dreaming of the day when OB returns to less than 3xOH.
this weather blows....let's get a bunch of people togehter and go to munich

Wonder how Linda Mar has been the last few days? Haven't seen any reports and haven't made it down there since Monday. Winds are forecast to die off and swing to the east tomorrow and saturday, could be some good waves over the weekend.
I went down to Linda Mar this morning and it was closed out mushy and 4-6 feet on the south with two Japanese dudes braving the brown town. The ###### was pumping and furious.
Haven't been out in ages...
Between heath, family, and work (in n particular order) I have been dry and cranky to depressed for some time now....
I am thinking a wetsuit swim might be the ticket... Maybe a "mad boogie" session...
With some sort of special high power super duper crazy knock em out antibiotic for prophylaxis....
Peaceout!
The reverend...
Ps. The only reason I posted was to use prophylaxis in a sentence.
I can't remember the last time I was out. I've just been paying attention to my other saltwater hobby. Saltwater fish. :)
Am in Shenzhen, China working on some final tweaks to a consumer electronics / computer peripheral device. No surfing here that I'm aware of, and too busy to do much else besides work / eat / sleep anyway.
When I get back I'm grabbing my kids & heading up to Tahoe for a couple of days. Screw jet lag.
In the last 5 days...not including putting on jeans to take the dog for piss/poop and 2 jogs...i have not gotten out of pajamas
Day 5, about to shoot someone - except for the fact that my new lack-of-surfing-gut is slowing me down...
Hitting SC in the am tomorrow, early, and can't wait!
I'm on to day 6 here and I am starting to see pink surfboards haunting me around corners. Going to try to hit something some where tonight, and tomorrow morning, and sunday some point if I can manage it. Bloody storms.
Great idea @tehdely: Patched a ding. Getting a bunch of work out of the way. Playing a bunch of music*.
Fwiw, my friends who bike >50mi daily are also going bonkers. Cabin fever!
Still, I gotta get wet even when it's yuck outside. I've been taking my girls to the pool in our old 'hood for Saturday afternoon free swims: http://www.sfgov.org/site/recpark_page.asp?id=1867#nbeach
Another thought comes to mind: make an appointment to see your doctor and ask for a tetanus booster, a hep vaccine, or some defense against whatever you might come in contact with once the weather gets a little better.
*Speaking of which, if you're a musician and want to try writing and recording a song-a-day in February, dm me (http://songaday.netscrap.com/songs/)
I haven't gotten out much this month (Got in 2 good days before I got sick, 1 before this storm compared to my usual 3 times a week or so). I've also been working a desk job.
I just went to go get a cup of tea, lifted my arm and AUGH. I'd forgotten how much surfing had replaced physical therapy (and how much sitting at a desk screws up my back). I've got some awesome trigger point action going on in my shoulders. Come back waves. I need to paddle my muscles back to happy!
