That's crazy. I went to Ocean City, MD a couple years ago for a wedding. Whole beach is just thumping shore break. Great for body surfing, but I can't imagine (or don't have the balls) to surf hurricane swell.

I grew up in MD. There is a decent right at the 1st street jetty, and Indian River Inlet up the road a ways usually has decent sandbars. That looks absurd though, I've never surfed anything over about head high in OC.

My parents have a beach house in Rehoboth. I learned to surf at the Indian River Inlet. I still keep a board there for when I visit. Good times.
