On Sept 1, 2012 at 9 am surfers everywhere (over 30 spots)will come together to support Daisy Love Merrick as she battles cancer. The goal is to raise funds and encourage Al Merrrick, his granddaughter Daisy and the whole family by holding a paddle-a-thon. Individual events will take place in different locations. On that note, If you are eligible, donate blood or better yet platelets. People, especially kids, who go through through those treatments need to have their platelets replaced. Platelets can only be stored for less than a week. It takes 2 hours to donate (if you pass the questionnaire part) but you will really make a difference in someones life.

My dear sweet cousin Rachel lost her ten week old baby "Emma" to SIDS, one month ago. This one really hits home, TT. I'll do my best to make that paddle out. Life is precious
