Here's a half dozen of the usual suspects:
1) Kelly Slater: not a whole lot more needs to be said about this guy, he's done it all.
2) Laird Hamilton: incredible all around waterman, popularized tow-in surfing, at the forefront of pimping SUP to kooks who can no longer paddle in.
3) Stephanie Gilmore: four time ASP champ and she's only 22.
4) Alana Blanchard: from the beach she's got the best looking frontside bottom turn in surfing history.
5) Bethany Hamilton: still surfs competitively after shark took her arm. How can anyone not respect that?
6) @piss-shiver: only man brave enough to hit Mavericks on his 5'8" fish when it's quad overhead.
