Rant - Red Foam at OB

Lots of red foam on the outside yesterday. Seems like it comes out this time of year. Is it red tide?

Well, my post asked if the red foam was red tide. @unfocused screen capture skills are excellent, but did not answer the question. The definitions of red tide that i read before posting, did not answer it either.

I'm pretty sure this is the same stuff that makes the photoplankton visible when the waves crash at night this time of year. I saw it last night at the fishing spot in Ptown. Soooo cool at night... Like a wave of ektoplasm from Ghostbusters .
