Rescued sea lion 'Blonde Bomber' released on Marin beach

A sea lion dubbed the Blonde Bomber was released Thursday at ###### after more than a week of treatment at the Marine Mammal Center in the Marin Headlands.

The juvenile male sea lion was rescued from Pier 39 in San Francisco on Oct. 9 after becoming entangled in ocean trash, including a 7-inch loop of plastic packing strap that was wrapped around his neck.
