I love Hatteras...definitely logged the majority of my tube time there, its just too easy. Boy do I wish OB had sand like that...
Definitely some scary drops when it gets big there. My issue with the sand there is that it moves around too easily. Rodanthe pier used to be such a great spot, but the sandbar was all but gone last time I checked it...but when it comes together, wow.
