The rest of the world looks at the Linda Mar cam at 7:20 this morning and sees looming 10-12 ft rollers pounding with a majestic ferocity. You? You see 4-6 ft. with occasional 8ft and "looking mostly closed out"

I surfed it this morning and caught a few hold on, this is going to hurts....
Got a few faces for the laffs...and yes there were some richter scale full beach whompers.
Reminded me of Kuta....You don't even have to look at it sometimes in August...about 500 yards from the beach when you hear the whomp, you just go somewhere else with board in tow. :)
Surfline "cam of the day" had LINDA MAR up as the selection yesterday...did anyone else notice? I had to laugh, the rest of the world must've been pretty bad on Feb 7 2012 if our Linda Mar was the best they could find. Maybe they were just trying to finally give some equal time, but I've never seen that in 13+yrs of being additcted to Surfline (for better or worse).
can someone please explain to me why 250 men, women and children paddle out there on a saturday just to drop in, go straight for 10-20 feet and then fall off their board. its not even surfing, its mostly standing and falling, and then again. 2 times a year you can see someone ride parallel to the beach.
