I never understand the point of taking the time to post or tweet about a black ops surf session at a secret spot with absolutely no story. Why post at all? At least give us an interesting story.

hmm. i guess i figured anyone who surfs around here might recognize this "secret spot." when i woke up this morning i saw the 7mph drift at ob and decided to take a short drive. linda mar didn't look worth suiting up for so i kept on driving. after how crowded it was yesterday at ob i knew i had to get somewhere on the early side. imagine my surprise to find two guys from ob suiting up here in the parking lot.
bottom line - i was STOKED. end of story.

if anyone was to guess the spot you need more than a few twigs of grass and an A frame :) I can think of about 8 spots it could be south of linda mar :)

I think it's awsome to not get much info except this person drove down the coast and found a wave at a notso typical spot. Inspiring and it can only do good in my opinion. It's the spirit of it!

The most soulful thing you can possibly do as a surfer is have a great session at a semi-secret spot and then take photos and post online about it. Posting online about surf sessions is the definition of soul. I met a guy that had a sick session recently and he didn't post online about it, what a kook!
