The waves looked rad, the sun was shining, but when you've got a friend in town from another country, ditching them for a few hours to go get wet just doesn't seem so kind. Luckily there are always hikes along the coast. Here's a shot from today, figured you all might dig it.

Cool. I love that area. I sat, sunbathed, and prayed for much of the day on the furthest rock out in your picture last weekend. It's such a nice place with two little coves on either side, the waves breaking on the rocks, a lot of solitude despite hundreds of thousands of people living all around it. I saw only one other guy come down to the water the entire day. He was my entertainment. He Elvis-legged most of the way because of how narrow the r0ck was out to the very edge; he was shaking like Pentecostal. I thought for sure he was going to crash down into the water and I was going to have to jump in after him. The cruise ship in one of my pics is the the Costa Deliziosa, a sister ship of the Costa Concordia that ran aground a few weeks ago.
