Sri Lanka Surf?

Howdy folks, I just signed up to this site but have been browsing for a long time. I will be heading to surf in Sri Lanka this January for a surf trip with the wife after visiting India. Seems like Hikkaduwa is the best place to go this time of year. Have any of you been there before? any reccomendations? Looking for uncrowded over great wave quality.
