We all know surfers take a pretty serious pounding that ends up getting a lot of them out of the profession. if they are up to 8 figure salaries for the top and several hundred thousand dollar prize lists, it may be time to talk about the type of benefits that pro athletes get in other sports. Sunny being a leader on behalf of surfers seems laughable. Kelly is king. I don't see him taking the lead on this, but he's acknowledging that additional work needs to be done.
