Surf contest poster from the past, way past . . .

I knew I still had this poster from way back.

This was maybe the last of the contests sponsored by Smirnoff at the Lane. The first couple of rounds were held at Wadd-ell Creek because the surf was so small. Then, on the final day, Sunday, the surf jumped up to the 15' + range and everybody was scrambling for guns. The winner was either Mike Doyle or Corky Carroll if memory serves me correct.
