Huff just jacked one something deep and the Giants seem to be giving this bubba on the mound a hard time at 80pitches in the 2nd inning :)
I'd rather be surfing and get some perfect tubes, painting the face tbh.
I'm more into the experiential, participatory part of sports than watching.
Again, this game still is quite entertaining.
Conceded the first two innings in exchange for some alone time at the beach and it worked out well. At 5:00 the beach was empty, the waves were good and weather was nice but I brought the wrong board.
Go Giants.

I think it was proven yesterday when it was crowded during the game yesterday.

What about a compromise:
Paddle out at Mc Covey Cove if they don't clinch it today? Anyone game?

I paddled out at McCovey Cove last year with two buddies and a 30 pack. Giants lost to the Rockies, drank 11 beer and then went home with a fever.
I wanna get in between the "Free Johannes Mehserle" and "Justice for Oscar Grant" boats. Perhaps have a sign of our own? I was thinking "Free Hans Reiser!!!"
Are you kidding? If you're a true Giants fan who has followed this team for years/decades, this question is ludicrous. We're talking about a team on the verge of doing something that it has never done before... win a friggin' World Series for San Francisco! Lets put it this way, how many World Series have been won by the Giants in the past 56 years? The answer is ZERO. How many epic surf days have there been at OB in the past half century? Probably more than you could count.

My only question is this: Boce got the beard in to seal the deal...textbook move, ***but***....Timmy gives you 8 nearly flawless innings (one jack, OK...) but still looks sharp. Why not give him the ball and let him get #1 hitter out in the 9th, and see what happens.
Not questioning Boce's reasoning, or his awesomeness. I just want to know what the decision making process is, around that decision.
It's a tough call. Timmy's been great. So has Wilson. Both are 'go to' guys. How the F can you even begin to choose?
Also, Renteria coming out of nowhere, insane. Guy never played 1/2 as much as the other guys, and gets up there and jacks it. It's not even his style, and he comes through.
Nothing but an amazing post season. It really was remarkable. Hopefully you all don't have hangovers tomorrow and can surf :) heh.
