Pistol River in Gold Beach is well known as an Oregon coast windsurfing destination. It can get crazy windy there with good swell making it a wave sailing destination.
I've only been there when it is windy with mostly wind swell so can't personally comment on the surfing conditions. With fall in play the wind is likely to be much lighter and it does pick up northwest swell.
